Event Photography for the Elizabeth Dole Foundation's Salute to Hidden Heroes

It was a honor to  photograph this event on behalf of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and her 'Salute to Hidden Heroes' program, which supports and honors our nation's military caregivers, and the spouses and family members who care for America's wounded veterans.

This jam-packed event included politicians and dignitaries like Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, journalist and NBC news anchor Richard Lui and legendary entertainment by The American Bombshells who performed the National Anthem in style. This type of event, where I had to photograph an Executive briefing session, a support panel discussion and public addresses, highlights the art of 'real-time' image creation, where speakers are captured and shared via social media while they are still addressing the audience. If you enjoy the thrill of multi-tasking in true journalistic style, this type of photography is what keeps the camera clicking and your adrenaline pumping.
