Capturing Wedding Bliss at Lake Harriet: A Sunset and Moonrise Picnic Celebration

I knew Shifra & Bryce's wedding celebrations were going to be extraordinary with their wedding date chosen specifically to capture both sunset & moonrise occurring 9 minutes apart. From the soothing blue hues bouncing off Lake Harriet to the fading yellows and glowing oranges of sunset / moonrise the light was heavenly. The free spirited bride and calming husband just added natural charm to all the splendor of the joyous evening.
The couple waiting patiently for the moon to rise above the horizon/tree line while a group of visitors were fishing as they tried to secure their 'catch of the day'!
And then onto the Wedding picnic party at Beard's Plaisance Park, with the most impressively sweet spread of Wedding cakes I have ever witnessed. Musicians played, kids ran freely in the park, and everyone else connected and chatted away enjoying the perfect weather and relaxed wedding day vibes. Long live all those wedding day smiles!
